Next Wednesday, January 17, 2024 at 4:00 p.m. I will be presenting the CD "Elegíaco", which I recorded alongside Grand Maestro Leo Brouwer and La Orquesta CR. Very honored for this opportunity to do so during the 1st. Congress of Musical Education and Training at Conservatorio Nacional de Música of Mexico. The excellent Maestros, friends and colleagues, Fernando Cornejo, Roberto Medrano, Francisco Zúñiga Olmos and Dr. Miguel Ángel Gutiérrez López, will be accompanying me at the table. I deeply appreciate the hospitality and affection shown by the Conservatory's Guitar Academy. I really appreciate it a lot! And thanks also to the great Juan Carlos Chacón for his friendship and initiatives that allow the dissemination of my work in such an important study center. We look forward to seeing you. Last Sunday I received some copies of Motivos de Son No. 3 composed by the great Maestro Leo Brouwer and dedicated to me. I am very proud for this work that he has dedicated to me, but I am also proud of having been able to work on the fingerings together with him. I think I am a very lucky and privileged person.

I deeply thank Maestro Leo for the music. And I deeply thank my dear, Maestra Isabelle Hernández and her excellent working team (Oficina Leo Brouwer and Ediciones Espiral Eterna), for making all this possible. There have already been several adventures since 2019. Eternal gratitude...

Presentación en Costa Rica de el cd ELEGÍACO grabado por Leo Brouwer, Director invitado, La Orquesta CR y yo como solista en la guitarra. Es una gran felicidad presentar este trabajo multinacional (Costa Rica, Cuba, Nicaragua y México), que se realizó durante la celebración de los 80 años del Maestro Leo Brouwer, en 2019, en Costa Rica. Imposible anotar aquí la lista de agradecimientos, pero quiero reconocer de manera muy especial al muy querido Maestro Ricardo Vargas, Director Titular de La Orquesta CR, quien apoyó con total entrega este proyecto. Todo mi cariño para él hacia la Eternidad...

Release in Costa Rica of the cd ELEGÍACO recorded by Leo Brouwer, Guest Conductor, La Orquesta CR and myself as soloist on guitar. It is a great happiness to present this multinational work (Costa Rica, Cuba, Nicaragua and Mexico), which was carried out during the celebration of Maestro Leo Brouwer's 80th anniversary events, in 2019, in Costa Rica. It is impossible to write down the list of thanks here, but I want to recognize in a very special way the very beloved Maestro Ricardo Vargas, Principal Conductor of La Orquesta CR, who supported this project with total dedication. All my love for him towards Eternity...
